Chemotherapy-Oncology

The chemotherapy day unit receives patients on a daily basis to administer their chemotherapy treatment.
Prior to any new treatment, each patient receives a paramedical consultation.

Announcement consultation

In order to answer any questions you may have, a nurse dedicated to the announcement will see you at the consultation.
She will listen to you and provide information about the disease, the proposed treatments, the expected side-effects and the impact on your daily life.
and the repercussions on your daily life. If you wish, she can also refer you to
qualified professionals depending on your needs (dietician, psychologist, beautician, associations, etc.). These
personalised consultations have been set up under the Cancer Plan to respond to requests for information
at the time of your treatment.

Thefollowing documents must beprovided at thetime of the first consultation with your oncologist:

  • Your identity card, or your residence permit if you are a foreign national, your "carte vitale" (French national health insurance card) with the updated certificate of open rights.

If you need a status report, please ask at reception.

Identity surveillance

Ensuring your safety is one of our priorities. To this end, we have introduced a policy of identity checks throughout your care. You will be asked to show proof of identity when you are admitted. This will enable us to check your identity and secure the registration of your care file. You will also be asked for permission to have your photo taken. We will identify you with a bracelet bearing your surname, first name, gender and date of birth, which you will keep during your stay. Your contribution is very important to us. You will be asked to identify yourself throughout your stay. Your safety can only be guaranteed by checking several sources of information at the same time.
